Valentine's Day, aka Friendship Day

So... my daughter had to bring cards to school today, not for Valentines Day, but for "Friendship" Day. They were not to be personalized - that takes too much time - the teacher mentioned. So, we had to make 18 generic "Friendship Day"  cards.

Luckily, one of my friends blog, I spied the cutest, and easiest ideas - these cute little Flower Valentines. Of course, we did have to change it from "Happy Valentines Day!" to "Happy Friendship Day!" so I put David to work changing the text (it is in PDF format and I don't have a PDF editor. I let him handle the challenges like that, but I supposed I better take those on more, seeing as my job is changing a bit to include puzzles like this, and David doesn't get paid to teach me how to teach other people... but I digress).

They came out very very cute and hopefully Friendship Day went well, although I personally think it's a bit on the lame side.

A bit of an update on my kitty.

She's doing better... all of her test came back lower, but not great. That's all we can really hope for at this point. We are giving her subcutaneous fluids daily, making sure she east special kidney diet food and giving her pepcid. She truly is like a little old lady at this point.

She'll go back to the vet at the end of the month and we will see where we go from there.
